Mr. M. Mostafiduzzaman has joined Padma Islami Life Insurance Limited as the Chief Executive Officer (Acting) on May 21, 2026.
Prior to joining Padma Islami Life Insurance Limited as Chief Executive Officer (Acting) he also served Padma Islami Life Insurance Limited as the Additional Managing Director from November 2, 2025 to May 20, 2026. He brings over 27 years of profound expertise in the banking and financial sector of Bangladesh.
Mr. Mostafiduzzaman served as the Managing Director & CEO (Current Charge) of Aviva Finance Limited from September 2023. His previous leadership roles include Deputy Managing Director at Uttara Finance & Investments Limited (August 2022 to September 2023), and Head of SME Banking Division at Meghna Bank Limited (May 2022 to July 2022). He also held several key positions, including Head of Retail Assets & SME Supply Chain Financing at Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) for 12 years and Head of Liability (SME & Commercial Banking) during his long tenure at Eastern Bank Limited (EBL), starting in 2011. Earlier in his career, he worked with Delta Brac Housing Finance Corporation (DBH) for 9 years, HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) and ANZ Grindlays Bank.
Mr. Mostafiduzzaman is a dedicated professional with strong skills in operational management, liability portfolio growth, and strategic leadership.
His commitment to professional excellence is demonstrated by his participation in extensive international training programs, including specialized courses on "Professional Training on Leadership" at the Australian Academy of Business Leadership in Malaysia and "Team Leadership Category Facility" at the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) in Singapore. He also completed development programs on "Personal Excellence through Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)" in Dubai and "Housing Finance Management" at the CHF in Mumbai, India. He holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Dhaka.
